Brian Richardson, Chief Executive Officer for Occupational Performance Corporation (OPC), graduated from Emporia State University with degrees in both Business Administration and Management. Brian served in the capacity as Director of Business Development for 3 years with OPC before being promoted to CEO in 2008.

Prior to joining OPC in 2005, Brian served as a Regional Sales Manager for 10 years with a large national communications company, then for 4 years as a National Director of Real Estate Development for a multi-million dollar property development firm. During this time, Brian saw first-hand the importance of matching physically qualified employees to their respective job requirements and how successful hiring practices can save employers hundreds of thousands of dollars in the reduction of workers compensation liabilities and injuries.

Brian frequently lectures on the values of post-offer and fit-for-duty employment testing to a variety of different audiences, including employers, insurance companies, risk management professionals, medical and legal teams.

He is very involved with several organizations within their Corporate community of Salina, KS such as serving on the Board of Directors and the Executive Teams for both the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and Salina Downtown Inc. Brian is also a member of the Salina Economic Development Board. Currently He is serving a term as the Administrative Board Chairperson for his church.

Dr. Gary Harbin is a practicing, board certified, orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the field of sports medicine. As the founder and Medical Director of Occupational Performance Corporation, he directs the development of testing systems designed to measure functional human performance. In addition, he supervises research in the field of occupational medicine with an emphasis on injury prevention. Dr Harbin is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a frequent national speaker. For over twenty years, Dr. Harbin has dedicated his research to understanding and measuring human functional performance in the workplace. He has several published articles in the American Journal of Industrial Medicine and is in the process of completing additional articles dealing with his findings from the occupational database. He is also actively involved in creating new methods of measuring human musculoskeletal and neurological skills.

John Olson, Exercise Physiologist, received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Kansas State University in 1987. He attended the University of Nevada -Las Vegas for graduate studies. From 1987 to 1993, his work background included rehabilitation, cardiac rehab, work hardening and work conditioning. From 1993 until present, he has been employed at Occupational Performance Corporation and has focused on Physical Capacity Profile® testing and its development. He directs the company’s hardware and software development. John has performed consulting services with Fortune 500 companies in the area of job analysis and ergonomics. He has presented and co-presented at the state and national level on the topics of safety, workers’ compensation, and health. John has co-authored articles in the American Journal of Industrial Medicine and in the journal Work.

Denae Birdsong, LPN COHC, received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Brown Mackie College in Salina, KS. She also received her certification as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist. Denae joined Occupational Performance Corporation in March 2010. Her responsibilities with Occupational Performance Corporation include administering the Physical Capacity Profile testing, performing on and offsite audiograms, respirator fit, as well as drug and alcohol testing. Denae also performs any additional clinic services OPC provides.

Jill Dyck, LPN received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Brown Mackie College in Salina, KS. Jill joined Occupational Performance Corporation in December of 2016. Her responsibilities include administering the Physical Capacity Profile testing, as well as DOT drug and alcohol testing, performing on and offsite audiograms, respirator fit and pulmonary function testing, as well as any additional clinic services OPC provides.

Nicole Lindsay joined Occupational Performance Corporation in December 2015 as Administrative Assistant. Before coming to work for OPC she worked for Saline County for 5 years. Nicole’s responsibilities include overseeing all administrative functions, handling of financial matters, including billing, accounts payable, and payroll, acting in a human resource capacity by maintaining employee files and benefits management, coordinating sales and services with employers and medical providers throughout the PCP network, as well as DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, pulmonary function tests, and additional back up clinic services.

Kindra Rose joined OPC in November 2017 as Business Development and Sales. Kindra graduated from Missouri State University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation she started in the Master’s program of Exercise Science at Kansas State University. Kindra then accepted a position as a sales representative for a pharmaceutical company. She was in the pharmaceutical industry for 21 years prior to accepting a position in business development with OPC. Her knowledge of healthcare and the industry will be a valuable asset to OPC’s growth and development. Kindra's responsibilities with OPC include sales, marketing, and employer assistance within the PCP network.  Paragraph
